When I haven’t used the car mouse for a while, I can’t seem to get it going again.
Just click the left button once and this will wake the mouse up. The car mouse has an energy saving mechanism so it goes to hibernate of it is not
moved for while.

Where do I put the batteries?
The batteries sit in the trunk / boot. They are easy to insert.

How can I open the trunk / boot?
Put your thumb on the rear window of the car mouse and simply slide it back towards the rear of the car. The lid will open up.

How can I close the trunk / boot?
Close the lid down again and slide it gently towards the front of the car mouse.

Does it matter which way round the batteries go?
Yes. At the back of the car you should see the + sign end displaying on the left battery and the – sign on the right battery before they are locked into the battery holder.

The car mouse has a usable range of up to 10 Metres

Can re-chargeable batteries be used in the car mouse?
Yes. These are probably the best batteries to use as they last much longer.

How long will the batteries last?
This will depend on how much the car mouse is used. Good brands should last up to 3 months. The sleep function of the car mouse will help conserve energy.

Will my car mouse work with other USB receivers?
No. Each car mouse is paired with a USB receiver.

Can I leave my USB receiver in the laptop when I shut down?
Yes. Everything reboots together. If you leave the mini-USB receiver in your laptop, be careful when putting the laptop into a bag.

How can the car mouse be switched off?
The car mouse will go to hibernate if inactive for a period of time. Alternatively, you can remove the receiver from the laptop and this will close the car mouse down.

I can’t get the car mouse to work with a wireless keyboard.
Sometimes the USB port you put the receiver in to has been assigned to another device. Try putting it into another port and give it a few minutes to find the device again.

Do I need to download special software to use the car mouse?
No. The car mouse comes with the software built in so you just have to plug the mini-USB receiver into your computer and insert the batteries into the mouse to start using the mouse.
